A couple of weeks ago I was silently congratulating myself for not catching Brodie’s cough. He had been coughing for a week or more and I was certain we were past the danger phase.

I was wrong. I caught the cough and somehow also a bit of a temperature and a lot of feeling quite ill, which he hadn’t even had. It was bound to happen sooner or later, it felt especially likely seeing as he had somehow avoided any bugs in December.

I have finally stopped coughing now, so normal(ish) service can resume.

Lego set of the week

This isn’t one of my usual Monday headings as you can tell by the lack of banner. But I forgot to share something I got at Christmas! It was a Jack Trent camera. Ok, it was this set which can be built into a retro camera, a camcorder or a little retro TV. I went for the camera, of course.

It comes with six stickers for the (colour) negatives. Unusually for me I did not follow the instructions exactly and put the three animal ones on one roll of film so that it can sit beside the camera and look like photos Jack might have taken. If he went to the zoo or on safari.
