If you want a good story about a dragon, I recommend ‘The Hobbit’ by J R R Tolkien, in which Bilbo Baggins and his thirteen companions, aided by Gandalf the wizard, travel to the Lonely Mountain in Eriador to overcome the dragon Smaug.
