Monday #697

Seriously considering renaming these Week# instead of Monday number. The only reason I haven’t (yet) is that it would make it even easier to procrastinate if I’ve not got an actual deadline.

Letters to Enid part 90

and

The Portrait Puzzle (Famous Five Adventures)

I actually got an email about this and it didn’t sit quite right with me so I didn’t share it at the time.

A housebuilding company had a competition asking for short stories to be sent in (by yesterday) to celebrate their show homes opening at Woodland Walk in Hoyland, Yorkshire.

While it looks like the houses are being built on what was farmland and fields I’m not sure that Blyton – nature-lover that she was – would have liked her name being used to promote more concrete and roads in the countryside.
