There is another new Malory Towers book coming out in September – and it looks like the start of a series. It says inspired by Enid Blyton but to me it seems more like ‘inspired by the Malory Towers TV show which was inspired by Enid Blyton’ but I can see how that would be hard to fit on the cover.

Malory Towers Mystery Club starts with Kidnap at Midnight, and a cast of new characters rather than Darrell et al (though it mentions beloved characters old and new, so perhaps the original cast will appear?)
