We had a bank holiday today because Scotland were playing in the world cup. I did not get up at 2am to watch the match. I also barely watched it when we got together with family to watch it at 11am for the kids’ benefit (I read a book instead). I also still had to work this evening as libraries don’t do bank holidays. But I will get time off in lieu later, so there’s that!
As the schools and Ewan’s work were closed we went out for a walk and had lunch before I started work.
(I’m not unpatriotic – I wore a blue/navy and white dress on Sunday, and was reading a Scottish author! – I just couldn’t care less about football!)
