My Eighteenth Noddy book: Noddy Goes to the Fair
My eighteenth Noddy should have been Cheer Up, Little Noddy which I was going to review last week. Unfortunately when I opened it I discovered the first 18 pages were missing (what a swizz!) and that put paid to a review. So … Continue reading
My seventeenth Noddy book: Noddy and the Bunkey
I’ve gone and gotten it wrong again this week I’m afraid. I said I would review Noddy Has an Adventure, but as anyone with half a brain (i.e. clearly not me) will know, I reviewed that two Noddys ago. So, … Continue reading
My sixteenth Noddy book: You’re a Good Friend, Noddy!
So we’re back to #16 in the series this week, for my 16th review. I was supposed to do this one last time but got the order wrong! This is a strange little story, I have to say. We begin … Continue reading

My fifteenth Noddy book: Noddy Has an Adventure
A confession to start: this isn’t the book I was supposed to do this week. I’m trying to do them in series order so You’re a Good Friend Noddy should have come first. But Noddy Has an Adventure is what I … Continue reading
My fourteenth Noddy book: Be Brave, Little Noddy
My fourteenth Noddy book is the thirteenth in the series (that isn’t confusing at all) and it’s one I only have in paperback. I’m not sure of dating it but I’m guessing around the 70s or 80s as it is … Continue reading
My thirteenth Noddy book: Noddy and the Magic Rubber
This is one of my tattier Noddys as it’s missing its spine completely. It’s just about still in one piece though. THE STORY I’ve noticed that most of the stories start at breakfast, but there’s no visit from the milkman … Continue reading

Noddy in Fuzzy Felt Toyland
As promised I got out my fuzzy felt set and took plenty of pictures for you. On trying to make the suggested pictures I discovered there were actually quite a lot of missing pieces but mostly just the narrow strips … Continue reading

My twelfth Noddy book: Noddy at the Seaside
This is the seventh title in the series (so I’ve actually read a few in a row now) and one I’ve been looking forward to. I love the beach and the seaside. Most if not all of the Noddys I’ve … Continue reading
My eleventh Noddy book: Noddy Goes to School
This was one I bought in a big lot of Noddy books and unfortunately when it came I discovered it was a reprint, one of the ones with the different sort of lettering on the front. The dustjacket still has … Continue reading
My tenth Noddy book: Well Done Noddy!
Not the book I was expecting to be reviewing this week due to various rescheduling issues over the past few weeks but never mind. Well Done Noddy! is the fifth book in the series, and for a brief time I … Continue reading
My eighth Noddy book: Noddy Goes to Toyland
I’ve been doing a bit of eBaying again (a dangerous pastime!) and I’ve now got a much larger collection of Noddy books. Not all of them yet, there’s four I don’t have, but it gives me plenty of new stories … Continue reading

My seventh Noddy book: Do Look Out Noddy!
My seventh Noddy book is Do Look Out Noddy!, number fifteen in the series. I should have reviewed this last time but I accidentally took the wrong one away on holiday with me a few weeks ago. This is the … Continue reading
My sixth Noddy book: Noddy Goes to Sea
My sixth Noddy book should have been #15, Do Look Out, Noddy! which is the next in the series actually, and the one which was mentioned in the Monday post. However, me being the eejit that I am, I grabbed the … Continue reading
My fifth Noddy book: Noddy and the Bumpy Dog
My fifth Noddy book is #14 (another big jump, I know,) Noddy and the Bumpy Dog. It was another Alton buy, and one of my £1 bargains. It’s fairly tatty and lacks a dustjacket but I don’t mind. The illustrator has … Continue reading
Whit Monday
It’s Whit Monday and I feel it’s time for some confessions. Of a book-buying nature, of course. My books from my trip down south arrived last week, and I had an exciting five minutes going through them all and remembering … Continue reading
My Fourth Noddy Book: You Funny Little Noddy
I have some new Noddy books now, ones I bought in Alton the other week. I picked them up from the Post Office this afternoon, just in time to read and review for the blog. I’ll continue trying to do … Continue reading
My third Noddy Book: Noddy and His Car
Serendipitously, my third Noddy book is actually the third book of the series; Noddy and His Car. (My first Noddy book was #2 and my second was #8.) A BARGAIN BUY As I mentioned in a recent Monday post, I … Continue reading
Monday
So it’s back to the real world for me today, the April holidays are officially over. Unsurprisingly, I did some book buying while I was away! Only one Blyton though, a paperback Noddy which cost me all of 25p. I … Continue reading

My second Noddy book: Noddy Gets Into Trouble
My first Noddy book was the second in the series (Hurrah for Little Noddy), and my second Noddy book is Noddy Gets Into Trouble, the eighth book. That’s what I get for buying a random pair from eBay because they … Continue reading
